Although the beginning of his career is eminently classical, he many times had the opportunity to work with choreographers of contemporary dance during his early professional years and all along his career. He admits that he has had since very young the desire and need to create, to expand, deepening his research in movement.

Some of his most relevant choreographies:

STRIFE (2004)

His first creation. It was presented at the carte blanche of the Dutch National Ballet with a concept referring to a pack of animals engaged in a constant battle for domination.

OUT! (2005)

Ballet created for the "New Moves" Het National Ballet program in Amsterdam. This creation marks the evolution of his career from classical ballet dancer to a more contemporary dance language.

DELUGE (2006)

This creation was commissioned by the Dutch National Ballet. It was made for 5 dancers with very different personalities and cultural backgrounds. It describes the social comportment of different people in the same community.

CARMEN DE MARSEILLE (2008)

This creation was made and recorded at the Gare Saint Charles, the central train station of Marseille. The idea was to bring the dance onto the streets to the public. It is a fusion of contemporary, classical and breakdance, accompanied by a very original African version of the music from the opera Carmen. The performers are mainly professional dancers of the Ballet National de Marseille.

UNCONVINCING SIMULATION OF HAPPINESS (2009)

It is a satiric ballet, a mocking of society where all passions are forbidden. The combination of electronic music with live piano performance accompanies a tragic love story. The performers were dancers from the Ballet de Marseille and students of the Professional Integration of the dance school of Marseille. The decorative elements were created by students at the University of Fine Arts.

IMPROVISATION (2010)

As the title suggests, it is a performance based on contemporary improvisation, using theatrical elements in the choreography and live electronic guitar sounds. This piece tells the story of a psychopath serial killer who preyed on prostitutes. This provocative piece was presented at Matadero Madrid Theatre.

REVERSE (2011)

A creation of contemporary dance and experimental live music, which immerses us humorously in the world of the human being from a prism where time ceases to be linear to become an imperfect present repeating itself.

A play presented at 55 ° International Choreographers' Showcase DanceForms.

RACINES (2013-2014)

First ballet of the company was created through the choreographic residence of los Teatros del Canal of Madrid and presented April 25, 2014 in the Theater of the French Institute of Spain.

ECDYSIS (2015)

Premiered at the Staatstheater Oldengourg, Germany.

We weave our dance, we give birth to it as a spider creates its web; this is how Ecdysis was born. This creation transcribes Agardi's essence at its pure, sincere and powerful. It was inspired by the life of the spider, importing the animal of my own movement. As savage as singular is the atmosphere to which I want to transport you. A world where the real and the unreal intertwines and carries us.
