Peter Agardi was born in Budapest 1979, where he began his studies at the Vaganova School of the Hungarian Dance Academy.
Already during his studies he performed many important soloist roles at the Hungarian State Opera. At the age of 18, he left the country to pursue his career in some of the most prestigious companies in Europe, such as Ballet National de Marseille as Principal dancer, Het Nationale Ballet of Amsterdam and La Compañia Nacional de Danza de Nacho Duato, among other companies.
Upon leaving the Compañia Nacional de Danza, he decided to focus on alternatives for the future in dance. Along this line he obtained a Masters Degree in Cultural Management at the Complutense University of Madrid.
His extensive experience as a dancer, his dedication and time invested, as well as the solidity of his continuous work with some of the best choreographers of our time, have enabled him to understand the process of creation, to enrich his choreographic vocabulary allowing him to express his ideas with high quality, and to bring out the best in each and every dancer.
In his creations he seeks both sensational and aesthetic pleasure and avoids convoluted messages and obscurities, with the sole aim that ALL audiences should be able to enjoy a dance performance of very high technical level with a unique choreographic language.
